Certification for Derivatives Operations.

If you currently work for an AFORE or SIEFORE and wish to obtain the Certification in Derivatives Operations , in this section you will find the information you need for this process.

In accordance with the GENERAL PROVISIONS ON FINANCIAL MATTERS OF RETIREMENT SAVINGS SYSTEMS and Annex J thereof, issued by CONSAR , there is an obligation for active AFORE and SIEFORE officials to be certified to prove their general knowledge in the area of Derivatives Operations, to perform the functions they perform.

CONSAR , the regulatory and supervisory body for the Retirement Savings System, states through reference letter No. XX/xx/XX , issued on XX XXX 2024, that those who pass the "Exam for Certification in Operations with Derivatives" for Executives and Controllers and Support Areas of Afores and Siefores, designed by the Mexican Stock Exchange, will comply with the provisions of said provisions regarding General Certification in Financial Matters.

Aim

That officials prove their knowledge of investments in order to perform the functions they perform.

Types of Certification

Certification exam in Derivatives Operations applicable to AFORES and SIEFORES Executives. Aimed at officials in charge of investment and risk area activities.
Certification exam in Derivatives Operations applicable to Controllers and Support Areas of AFORES and SIEFORES. Aimed at officials of the Regulatory Comptroller's Office who work in the areas of risk, assignment, liquidation, control, confirmation, accounting, treasury, finance and regulatory control of financial matters of Investment Companies.

Registration Procedure

To take the certification exam, the candidate must follow the procedure indicated below:

First download the Certification exam registration form .
* NOTES: Please verify the information before sending it. Correcting any incorrectly entered information (name, type of exam, etc.) may result in an additional cost for the participant. In the registration form and/or in the "Exam Calendar" section, you will be able to choose the available exam dates.

Then make the corresponding payment. To make the payment, it will be necessary to make a deposit or transfer to the account:

Mandatory Documentation

Copy of proof of payment.

Official Identification (INE, Passport, Professional Certificate or Driver's License). *NOTE: the official identification must be valid.

*NOTE: Entries will only be accepted in PDF format. .png, .jpeg, .jpg, .giff, or similar formats will not be accepted.

Policies for certification and registration

The Certification is valid for 2 years, counting from the date on which the exam was passed.

The applicant may cancel or modify his/her attendance at the Certification Exam, in accordance with the following:

* 6 business days prior to the exam, free of charge .
* 5 to 3 business days prior to the exam, 50% of the exam cost.
* 2 business days prior to the exam, 100% of the exam cost.

If the candidate does not show up for the exam on the reserved date, he/she will have to restart the process by paying a new registration fee.

The exam will be administered at the time established by the Bolsa Mexicana School.

Minimum passing gradeThe minimum passing grade is 6.00 for the final average (on a scale of 10.00 points). If you do not obtain the minimum grade, you must take the exam again.

The applicant may choose the exam modality: In person at the facilities designated by Escuela Bolsa or Online, through the system determined by Escuela Bolsa.
